I read about the river or life AKA the okavango river. The people depend on the river because it gives them food and water. They depend on it because they travel by canoe on the river.   People live near the river and the river gives them what they need to survive.

No I do not think there is a old man of the moon. It is a book and there is not dragons or fish that can talk. There is not a pearl that big in the world,  there is not a stone tiger that has poison claws, and there is no red lines that connect all the people in the world.   That is why I don't think there is a old man of the moon.
